Stay outside the LINES

New sketchbook love

New sketchbooks make me nervous.  Beautiful blank pages.  Pristine crisp cover.  When I start something new I try not to worry about the outcome. A new sketchbook brings hopes of magical creations as well as fears of tragic failure.

Many of the finished pieces get turned into the covers of journals or I make art print greeting cards.

I carry a sketchbook everywhere as a way of distressing.  Waiting for a bus, sitting at the Dr office, etc..... Nothing fills time like doodling!
